This Privacy Policy explains how CurrentBlack LLC handles information for #Fax across Android, iOS, the website, and related services.

It covers who operates the service, what information may be collected, how account deletion works, what may be retained, and how to contact support.

Operator CurrentBlack LLC operates the backend, website, support, and current privacy practices.
Deletion Path Users can request deletion at /delete-account or via [email protected].
Platform Scope This shared policy covers Android, iOS, guest accounts, and sign-in based accounts.
  • iOS App Store distribution: Vahagn Gevorgyan.
  • Android Google Play distribution and website: CurrentBlack LLC.
  • Support contact: [email protected].
  • CurrentBlack LLC operates the #Fax backend, website, customer support, and current privacy practices.

In this policy, references to #Fax, we, our, or us refer to the entities responsible for distributing, operating, supporting, or providing the #Fax service, depending on the platform and service involved.

To provide #Fax, we may collect and process information needed to operate the service, support account access, send and receive faxes, manage subscriptions, secure the product, and improve reliability.

  • Account identity details such as Google Sign-In email, Apple Sign-In identity if used, anonymous or guest account identifiers, or other account identifiers used with #Fax.
  • Assigned fax numbers linked to an account.
  • Uploaded fax documents, attachments, received fax files, and related transmission history.
  • Account or profile details, subscription or billing-related records, and support communications.
  • Technical and usage data such as device information, crash diagnostics, logs, and product interaction data used to operate and improve the service.
  • Notification tokens or similar account-linked app data used to deliver service notifications.

#Fax may use third-party service providers to help operate the app, process subscriptions, host data, measure performance, and diagnose issues.

Subscriptions

These providers may process data on our behalf as needed to deliver the service.

You can request deletion of your #Fax account and associated data from our public deletion page at /delete-account or by contacting [email protected].

If the same #Fax account or associated account data is used across Android and iOS, deleting that account removes the associated #Fax account data across both platforms. Deleting a #Fax account does not delete a user's Google account or Apple account.

  • To help us locate the correct account, users should provide their Google Sign-In email if used, their Apple Sign-In email or Apple relay email if Sign in with Apple was available and used, their assigned fax number if any, and any other identifying details available.
  • If a user did not use Google or Apple sign-in, they should provide their assigned fax number and any recent fax details that can help identify the correct anonymous or guest account.
  • When we process a verified deletion request, we will delete or de-identify account-linked data such as the account identity used with the app, including Google Sign-In identity, Apple Sign-In identity if used, anonymous or guest account identifiers, assigned fax number associations, uploaded documents, received files, fax history, account/profile data, and related notification tokens, subject to limited retention described below.
  • We aim to acknowledge requests within 5 business days and complete verified deletion requests within 30 days unless more information is needed or limited retention is required.
Deleting a #Fax account does not automatically cancel subscriptions billed through Google Play or the Apple App Store. Those subscriptions may need to be canceled separately through the store where they were purchased.

Some information may need to be retained for a limited period for legitimate business or legal reasons.

  • Fraud prevention, abuse prevention, and account security.
  • Security logs, incident records, and information needed to investigate misuse.
  • Billing, subscription, payment, tax, or chargeback records that must be kept for accounting or compliance purposes.
  • Information required by law, regulation, court order, or needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
  • De-identified or aggregated information that no longer identifies a specific person.

Any retained data will be limited to the purpose that requires retention and kept only for as long as reasonably necessary or legally required.

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect information processed by #Fax. No method of storage or transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

#Fax is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and update the effective date above.
