How to Request Deletion

1. Email [email protected] with the subject #Fax Account Deletion Request.
2. Include the account details listed below so we can locate the right account and associated fax data.
3. If we need to confirm ownership or clarify which account should be removed, we may contact you before completing the request.

What to Include

• Your Google Sign-In email address, if you used Google Sign-In with #Fax.
• Your Apple Sign-In email address or Apple relay email, if Sign in with Apple was available to you and you used it with #Fax.
• Your assigned inbound fax number, if one was assigned to your account.
• Any other information that can help us identify the account, such as a recent fax date, a recent fax recipient number, or subscription details.
• A different contact email if you no longer have access to the Google or Apple account used in the app.

If you did not use Google or Apple sign-in, provide your assigned fax number and any recent fax details that can help us identify the correct guest or anonymous account.

If you do not have all of this information, send what you have. We will use reasonable steps to locate the account and may ask for more details if needed.

What Gets Deleted

When we process a verified account deletion request, we will delete or de-identify data associated with your #Fax account, including:

• Account identity used with the app, such as Google Sign-In identity, Apple Sign-In identity if used, and assigned fax number.
• Uploaded fax documents and attachments stored for your account.
• Received fax files stored for your account.
• Fax history and account-linked metadata tied to your use of the service.
• Account and profile data connected to your #Fax account.
• Notification tokens and similar account-linked app data used to operate the service.

If deletion is not practical for a specific record but the record no longer needs to identify you, we may de-identify it instead.

What May Be Retained

Some records may need to be kept for a limited period for legitimate business or legal reasons, including:

• Fraud prevention, abuse prevention, and account security.
• Security logs, incident records, and information needed to investigate misuse.
• Billing, subscription, payment, tax, or chargeback records that must be retained for accounting or compliance.
• Information we must keep to comply with law, regulation, court order, or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
• De-identified or aggregated information that no longer identifies you personally.

Any retained data will be limited to the purpose that requires retention and kept only as long as reasonably necessary or legally required.

Subscription Notes

Deleting your #Fax account does not automatically cancel a subscription billed through Google Play or the Apple App Store.

If you subscribed through Google Play, cancel the subscription separately in Google Play to stop future billing. If you subscribed through Apple, cancel the subscription separately in your Apple subscriptions settings or the App Store.

You can still request account deletion from this page even if you first need to cancel billing in Google Play or through Apple.

Once your deletion request is completed, access to the deleted #Fax account and associated fax data may not be recoverable.
